A dry day and some big fish on the Charity Match.

Swallowfield Fishing Clubs annual charity event took place on Sunday 6th September at Pondwwod Fisheries, Waltham-St-Lawrence, to raise money for this years chosen charity, The Me2Club in Wokingham. Seventeen anglers, including guests, took part in the event which saw both sections of Pondwoods "Snake" lake pegged. The day had started dry and was to continue over the five hour match which was scheduled for a 10am start. This gave everyone time to eat breakfast which was kindly prepared by the staff at the on site cafe. A big thanks you to them for the fantastic food and tea. The raffle after the match raised plenty of funds with all of the prizes being taken. A big thank you to Mick Holdawawy of Pondwood Fisheries for hosting the event.
