Charity Match 2011
This years charity match in aid of the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, held on the 19th September 2011 at Pondwood Fisheries, Twyford, managed to raise in excess of £400. Swallowfield Fishing Club would like to thank all of those anglers who took part on the day and to Mick Holdaway Of Pondwood for hosting the event and donating a portion of the peg fees back to the charity.
As usual, a big thank you goes to all of those individuals and businesses who donated by giving prizes for the raffle as well as financial contributions. Thanks must also go to the cafe staff for their efforts in providing everyone with a full english breakfast along with tea and coffee.
We hope next years efforts provide the response we have seen over past years and will of course inform all as and when the new charity is chosen.
