Slow Start For The Pairs Match

The Collings Pairs Match, held on the 31st October, took place on the New Barlows lake in Tadley, part of the Stacey's Fishing Club waters. The rain forecast for the Saturday had not arrived, and, typically held off to the Sunday ready for the match. Although not particularly heavy, there was sufficient to ensure a very damp feel to the proceedings. Only four of the nine anglers managed to land fish, all of which only appeared in the last hour of match conditions. Well done to D. Clark for winning the match as well as the Golden Peg. The individual results are below.
