Swapped Dates and Cancelled Matches For The Ruby Shield

The original Ruby Shield 2011 match was fish on the rivers within Swallowfield Park on the 30th January 2011. As this turned out to be a rather bad day for everyone, with not a fish being caught, the trophy could not be claimed. The match secretary decided to schedule this as a points match and relocate the Ruby Shield to another date. The 21 Club away match on the 13th February had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, and so gave the ideal opportunity for the Ruby Shield match to be fished. Wokefield Park played host the the 10 SFC anglers that took part. The day itself was rainy for the duration, although after 5 hours the total weight of fish eventually caught was quite substantial. In all, about 240lb of fish made up the total weight with the individual results below.
