Swallowfield Fishing Club

These are the fish captured during the electrofishing session on 26/11/11. There are 40 pike just coming up to 2 years old, concieved from the spawing in 2009 when  pair entered the pond during the December floods.

This male tench was caught during the electrofishing session on the 26/11/11 to remove the pike.

The roach was caught during the electrofishing session on the 26/11/11. This fish was not stocked but had come in during the floods at some point.

This batch of 250 small tench were stocked into the pond on the 24/11/11. They were spplied by the Environment Agencies fish farm at Calverton, Nottinghamshire.

This is one of the stocked crucians which appears to be putting on weight quite well. Several this size were caught during the electrofishing on 26/11/11.

This is one of the crucian carp stocked in 2010 provided by the EA's fish farm at Calverton.

This fish was probably from the original stocking back in early March 2010 supplied by Moore & Moore Carp Ltd.
